Amy worked directly with Cloverleaf employees to deepen their understanding of dementia and how it affects individuals and families. The session covered the characteristics and common signs of dementia, effective communication strategies for interacting with those experiencing cognitive changes, and practical ways to create a welcoming, supportive environment for people living with dementia.

Cloverleaf Healthcare’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to compassionate, person-centered care and to build a more inclusive community for individuals at every stage of life.

If your business or organization is interested in becoming more dementia friendly, please contact Schorr at Thrive West Central at 812-238-1561, ext. 260, for more information.
