Thrive West Central and the Sisters of Providence will provide dementia awareness training in a series of sessions starting in September. For those who wish to attend, respite care is available.

These homes are located in the 1100-1200 block of South 16th St. All eight homes have been sold. Veteran’s Village will consist of 6 small transitional homes for homeless veterans in the area of N. 23rd/Maple Ave. Each home will be 360 sq. ft. with a bedroom, bathroom, living/dining area and will be ADA compliant. Each home will come completely furnished. There will be a small cost to each tenant for utilities.

Bricks & Gables is building six homes in the established east subdivision of Terre Vista and four homes in Eastland Estates. These single-story homes will feature 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an attached garage. The homes will range from 1400-2079 sq. ft. with wheelchair accessible doorways and ADA bathtubs. Homes located in both areas will be for sale.

The Southard Acres West project is set to build 17 single-family, detached homes. This will be a new subdivision located at Haythorne and 14th 1/2 Street. This will be a modern, age-friendly development with homes retailing around $ 225,000. This project has been started and homes are for sale.

This new townhome community will be comprised of 102 units when completed. Each unit is approximately 1,991 square feet and will feature a 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath with a 2-car garage. This development will have sidewalks, paved roads, dog park areas, and several green common spaces. This will be a fully maintenance-free community. Jon Mutchner Homes will construct all the townhomes, and Mutchner Development will own and develop the property, which will be called The Bear Creek Townhomes.

This project will feature 16 beautiful single-family homes, each 1500 square feet, between Hulman and Putnam Street on Albert Drive. They will feature both brick and siding and will have 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and an attached garage on a .15-acre lot. These homes are for sale and can be customized if purchased prior to construction.
