Thrive West Central and the Sisters of Providence will provide dementia awareness training in a series of sessions starting in September. For those who wish to attend, respite care is available. The training, based on Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care, will be led by award-winning Sisters of Providence nurse Beth Collins and Thrive’s Dementia

These homes are located in the 1100-1200 block of South 16th St. All eight homes have been sold. Each home will come completely furnished. There will be a small cost to each tenant for utilities.

Bricks & Gables is building six homes in the established east subdivision of Terre Vista and four homes in Eastland Estates. The Southard Acres West project is set to build 17 single-family, detached homes. This will be a new subdivision located at Haythorne and 14th 1/2 Street. This will be a modern, age-friendly development with homes retailing around $ 225,000. This project has been started and homes are for sale.
