Each of us can look at our lives and remember that special someone who took the time to invest in our well-being and care for us. And because of that demonstration of care you experienced, you embody that choice every day to care for those around you. Whenever you offer a friendly smile or hello, perform a simple act of kindness, take the time to mentor, or make a philanthropic gift, you help to build a community where others can prosper too.
We can’t do it without supporters like you. Thank you for investing time, talent, and treasure in Thrive’s mission. Working together, we will build a healthier, thriving community.

2025 Golf Fundraiser
We are excited to announce our upcoming fundraising event, the first ever Thrive Foundation Golf Tournament. It will be held on Friday, June 27th, at Hulman Links Golf Course, from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. Lunch will be provided from 11 am – noon.
Our hope is to raise money to support Thrive West Central’s ongoing initiatives and services around access to services, specifically fundraising for a capital purchase of a new vehicle for transportation. Thrive’s transportation division is busy taking local seniors and disabled adults to their jobs, to doctor appointments, even to the grocery store. Money from the golf outing will go toward another ADA compliant van so we can take more people over longer periods of time.

Buy a Ride
Giving just $25 is enough help someone in need can be a lifeline—especially for individuals without reliable transportation. Whether it’s getting an elderly neighbor to a medical appointment, helping a job seeker reach an interview, or ensuring a child makes it to school safely, that small amount can remove a major barrier. It’s not just about the distance covered—it’s about restoring independence, dignity, and opportunity. A simple ride can open doors, connect people to essential services, and remind them that their community cares.

Buy a Meal
You can help someone in need is a powerful way by showing compassion and make a tangible difference. Just $10 can provide a warm, nourishing meal to someone facing hunger or hardship—whether it’s a senior on a fixed income, a struggling neighbor, or a person experiencing homelessness. Beyond the food itself, it sends a message of dignity and care, reminding them they’re not forgotten. Small gestures like this, multiplied across a community, can create a ripple effect of kindness and support.

Buy Relief
Giving a donation provides immediate and meaningful relief for someone in need. Whether it helps cover the cost of a warm meal, a safe place to sleep, medical care, or transportation, your contribution can ease the burden of daily struggles and restore a sense of dignity and hope. Even a small donation can bridge a critical gap—turning uncertainty into stability, and hardship into opportunity. It’s a simple yet powerful way to show that someone cares, and that no one has to face their challenges alone.
Our Four strategic initiatives
Meeting basic needs to improve an individual’s quality of life and provide dignity as they age is at the heart of Thrive’s mission. Our wraparound services address the non-medical social determinants of health (SDOH). SDOH are factors that affect health outcomes and can significantly impact health inequities.
The Thrive Foundation needs help from caring community members to aid in addressing the most basic needs of older adults. Thrive West Central has several impactful programs that address SDOHs to improve health outcomes by providing access to preventative health services, nutrition, and caregiver support.
Thrive’s a model for entrepreneurship and corporate innovation, walks alongside staff and collaborative partners to ideate, prototype, and launch solutions that address challenges faced by Hoosier families.
You can’t access what you don’t know. About two-thirds of older adults in West Central Indiana said they struggle with knowing what services are available. Thrive serves as the regional aging and disabled resource center and fields over 60,000 calls from older adults, individuals with disabilities, caregivers, and healthcare organizations. However, State funding levels are grossly underfunded for proactive outreach, education, and preventative health planning and counseling.
Your Compassion Matters
Thrive’s services are crucial to the aging and disabled community throughout West Central Indiana. As our region’s population increases with adults over the age of 60, our communities must take proactive approaches to help older adults and their caregivers find solutions and strategies to age in place while avoiding preventable hospitalizations.
Because of the growing population age 60 and older in West Central Indiana, Thrive West Central cannot meet all of the needs of elderly and homebound individuals. Donations of money and other gifts from individuals, businesses, and organizations enable the Thrive Foundation to enhance the many programs and services Thrive West Central provides to seniors and persons with disabilities throughout West Central Indiana. Donations to the Thrive Foundation are tax deductible.
